What are zero-dimensional, one-dimensional, two-dimensional, and three-dimensional positioning?
+These terms describe the spatial resolution of location finding devices:
● 3D positioning: Tracks targets in full Cartesian coordinates (X, Y, Z), enabling free movement in 3D space (e.g., drones or robotic arms).● 2D positioning: Confines tracking to a planar surface (horizontal or inclined), ideal for floor-level asset monitoring.● 1D positioning: Restricts movement to a linear path (e.g., conveyor belt tracking).● 0D positioning: Detects presence/absence of a target within a defined zone (e.g., real-time location tracking for entry/exit monitoring).Optimal accuracy is achieved when the system’s positioning dimension aligns with the target’s actual movement (e.g., 3D RTLS technology for dynamic indoor navigation). -

Eforthink’s Self-Developed UBeacon vs. Traditional UWB
+Traditional UWB:
● Uses Time-of-Flight (TOF) between tags and base stations.
● Relies on wired connections (network cable/fiber) between base stations and servers.
● Combines UWB signals with ZigBee communication.
UBeacon (Eforthink Innovation):
● Integrates RTLS Technology with TOF ranging between tags and beacons.
● Transmits data via 915MHz ZigBee to servers (fiber/4G).
● Combines UWB signals with AoA, reducing wiring costs and enabling flexible deployment. -
Advantages of UWB & AOA Fusion RTLS
+Dual-technology synergy: Combines UWB’s centimeter-level accuracy with AoA’s cost efficiency.
Scenario-based optimization: Deploy UBeacons in high-precision zones (e.g., hazardous areas) and iBeacons in low-precision zones (e.g., warehouses).
Seamless switching: Tags dynamically switch between UWB and AoA for uninterrupted real time location tracking. -
Eforthink UBeacon vs. AOD Ground Spikes
+Lower Deployment Density: UBeacon covers 0–80m vs. AOD’s 10m, reducing device count by 75–80%.
Superior Stability: UWB resists multipath interference, maintaining <10cm accuracy in metal-rich environments.
Flexible Installation: Wall/pole-mounted UBeacons avoid ground obstructions, unlike AOD’s central-floor placement.

How Does Eforthink’s RTLS Ensure Safety Ranging and Collision Avoidance?
+The system comprises two core location finding devices: a ranging base station and a ranging tag.
In practical applications, the distance between base stations or between a base station and a Personnel Location Tag reflects the proximity of vehicles or personnel. When the distance falls below a preset safety threshold, connected alarms and tags trigger real-time alerts (voice and light) to prevent collisions, such as forklift accidents.
The base stations perform mutual ranging, while tags range with base stations (but not with each other). Safety distances between nodes (base stations/tags) are configurable via tools. This RTLS real time location system ensures instant alerts for dynamic risk mitigation.
