UWB Intelligent Logistics and Work Order
PROJECT BACKGROUND
The customer is a large-scale printing and dyeing enterprise specializing in textile dyeing & finishing and umbrella fabric production, with spacious factory workshops and strong production capacity. Its production process requires frequent cross-process transfer of materials and semi-finished products relying on on-site material trolleys. Restricted by large workshop area, complex working procedures and massive trolleys, the enterprise faces difficulties in trolley searching, low turnover efficiency, uncontrollable work order circulation and poor data traceability. To realize full-process intelligent tracking of material circulation and optimize production scheduling, the enterprise cooperated with Eforthink to deploy a UWB high-precision material trolley positioning system.

CUSTOMIZED SOLUTION
Eforthink proposed a customized UWB high-precision positioning solution tailored for printing and dyeing workshop scenarios. By deploying positioning base stations and installing positioning tags on material trolleys, the system acquires real-time high-accuracy trolley location data and builds a full-process intelligent tracking system for production material scheduling and circulation.

The solution adopts mature UWB high-precision positioning technology. Through strategic hardware deployment and environmental parameter optimization, it achieves real-time and accurate positioning of on-site trolleys. Combined with electronic fence and location IoT integration technology, it supports intelligent data statistics, trajectory playback and system data integration to realize automated and intelligent workshop logistics management.

System Deployment
The project deployed a full set of UWB positioning hardware to build a full-coverage and high-stability workshop positioning network. The system binds trolley numbers with tag MAC addresses and associates work order information with material trolleys to establish accurate one-to-one data correspondence. Supported by regional electronic fences, it realizes real-time monitoring of trolley distribution, automatic collection of in-process production data, and full trajectory playback of trolley movement.

The UWB positioning system enables fast and precise retrieval of target trolleys. It shortens the traditional manual searching time from nearly one hour to several minutes, effectively solving the problem of difficult trolley lookup, accelerating material turnover and improving overall workshop operational efficiency.
Realize Standardized and Traceable Work Order Management
The system optimizes the traditional paper-based work order model by correlating physical trolleys with electronic work order data. It ensures real-time update and accurate matching of in-process material information, avoiding order loss and delayed data synchronization. It supports trajectory query and playback by work order number and time period, realizing full-process traceability of production circulation.
Optimize Production Scheduling and Resource Utilization
Integrated with the enterprise’s scheduling system, the platform supports intelligent automatic production scheduling based on real-time trolley status, which improves trolley utilization and scheduling rationality. It also enables one-click generation of trolley inventory statistics, providing intuitive and accurate data support for production decision-making.
Eliminate On-Site Risks and Standardize Workshop Operations
Combined with trolley tags and electronic fence technology, the system automatically matches trolley carriers with processing materials to ensure standardized and orderly production procedures. It triggers real-time alarms for abnormal process sequences to reduce production losses. Meanwhile, it standardizes on-site trolley parking behaviors and eliminates potential safety hazards in the workshop.
SUMMARY
This project delivers a mature UWB positioning application for the printing and dyeing industry. It solves core pain points including difficult trolley retrieval, disordered material circulation and untraceable work orders.
